Welcome to Good Shepherd! We have so much going on and hope you will join us for all of these great opportunities!
Worship on Sundays at 9 a.m. or Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
Menomonie Singers Concert
Schubert’s Mass in G will be the choir’s focus at this evening concert, Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Jerry Hui, the choir’s conductor, will present a pre-concert talk about the music beginning at 6:45. Accompanying the choir will be a small orchestra of local musicians. There is no admission charge, but a suggested donation of $10 to defray expenses will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to those who have already turned in their pledge cards for the Starting Strong Campaign. You can turn pledges and donations in at any time. If you need/want another pledge sheet, they are available on the table outside the sanctuary doors. You can leave your pledge in the box and place your donations in the offering plates. You can also pledge or donate online.
Thank you to those who have donated sheets to the quilters. They are still in need of sheets (and monetary donations) to use for the backing of the quilts. You can drop them off in the church office.
The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Adopt-a-Highway clean-up will be conducted Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. We will plan to meet in the church parking lot at 9 a.m. Please make sure to wear weather appropriate clothes, including good shoes, gloves and bring water to drink. Garbage bags and vests will be provided. Thanks in advance for your help on this most worthy community project. Please contact Dean Tabor at 715-271-4321 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than April 26 if you can help or you have any questions. Thanks! You are all invited for chili at Dean and Denise’s place afterwards.
