Social Concerns Committee

Good Shepherd’s Social Concerns Committee helps the members of the congregation come to a greater awareness of the social issues that confront our community and our world and to see those issues from a Christian perspective. Some of the projects the Social Concerns Committee participate in are the Load-A-Truck-Sunday, Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), Adopt-a-Highway, the annual CROP Walk, and providing food baskets during the holidays for families in need. The Social Concerns Committee meets monthly and invites members to become involved by joining the committee and/or supporting their projects.
